Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced three new DC Animated Universe Movies for 2019. Batman: Hush, Justice League vs. The Fatal Five and Wonder Woman: Bloodlines.
Batman: Hush, one of the biggest and most loved Batman stories created by Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee in 2002 and 2003. The story revolves around a mysterious villain known as Hush whose intent is to ruin Batman’s life. It’s a surprisingly complex story that would feature much of the Dark Knight’s popular rogues’ gallery, hint at the eventual return of the once dead Jason Todd, introduce Bruce Wayne’s childhood friend Tommy Elliot and bring the romantic undertones of Batman’s relationship with Catwoman to the forefront for the first time.
Justice League vs. The Fatal Five will be an original story; the characters were introduced in the 1967 and are commonly associated with the Legion of Superheroes. Not much is known about the film, but it will be great to see another animated Justice League adventure.
Wonder Woman: Bloodlines is a mysterious project from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, nothing is known yet about the plot, further details will be announced next year.
The previously announced Reign of Supermen, the second part of the two-part adaptation of The Death of Superman will introduce characters who have gone on to play integral roles in the world of Superman, such as Steel, Cyborg Superman and Conner Kent. It will release in early 2019.
