Director David F. Sandberg has confirmed Grace Fulton has joined the cast of Shazam!
Sandberg previously worked with Fulton on Annabelle: Creation.
Fulton will play Mary Batson aka Mary Marvel, the twin sister of Billy Batson (Asher Angel). Like her brother, she can conjure up the power of the Shazam and become the superheroine. However it’s unknown yet how much the film version will be faithful to its comic book counterpart, or if we will see Mary’s transformation.
The cast of Shazam! is coming together nicely, with the addition of Fulton joining Asher Angel (Andi Mack) as Billy Batson, Zachary Levi (Chuck) as Shazam, Jack Dylan Grazer (IT) as Freddy Freeman, Ian Chen (Fresh of the Boat) as Eugene and Jovan Armand (Bella and the Bulldogs) as Pedro.
As you can see from Sandberg’s reveal, Fulton won’t be the last casting announcements.

Sandberg will direct the film from a script by Henry Gayden (Earth to Echo).
The film follows the story of Billy Batson, a young boy who can transform into an adult superhero by saying the magic word “Shazam!”.
Omega Underground has confirmed filming will begin early 2018 in Toronto, Canada.
